Preplasted paper is not a great choice. It wont given you the finish it should and may be will save you the time an trouble buts it wont be good for the long run. I things going with the classic procedure always help and is safe as you can bet on the desired results. est is your choice, if the area is not too much why take the risk.

I completely agree, you should avoid using the prepasted paper as it won't stick nicely.

proper sizing does two things #1 it seals the wall surface for a good bond #2 it makes future removal much easier without damaging the wall surface. It is not always necessary if your not sure then size.
paste activator is a product that is used for just what it says it is thicker than water therefore much less messy and dose a great job
many prepasted papers in fact most expand when water or activator is applied booking allows this expansion to occurre while rolled up / booked, not on the wall where it would bubble and wrinkle causing removal and probable damage
For me, prepasted wallpaper will not last long.

Prepasted paper does not stick to well. The adhesive on it is not strong enough. Also it will peel off easily. So I really dont think its a good idea to go for it. Sizing and booking needs to be done for getting good results and so that your paper lasts longer.
