shower walls

Can I use the same vinyl that I use on the floor as my shower walls too?  Would it be best on cement board or green board, what kind of glue, etc! whatever details I didn't think to ask!

You can still use the same vinyl and for me, I prefer cement board for that.

From personal experience I would never put any plastic in the walls, the wall will not be able to breath.

Plastic on the walls are a no-no for me. We have to make sure that the walls can breathe. I made sure that my bathroom walls can breathe. Storage facilities also need to ensure the type of material, the make of the walls of our storage spaces since we need to make sure that the clients’ things are kept under good conditions. Hence, try not to use any vinyls to cover your walls. Please do make sure that your walls can breathe. Just my two cents’ worth of advise. Glad you brought this up in this forum!
