    Lawn mower cable repair

    The cable on my lawn mower doesn't retract smoothly, therefore it wont shut off quickly when I release the handle.  Any ideas how to fix?

    Blow out the cable with an air compressor and then lubricate with oil.  WD-40 forced into the cable covering until it flows from the other end.
