    Storing / drying out pressure treated lumber

     Awhile back I bought a trailer for hauling things on and the floor needed to be redone. Today I bought some 5/4x6 treated material for that. I bought it at Lowe's and it came from a new bundle, so it is fresh lumber and it was also storming on my way home. I would rather install the decking after it dries out some but am curious as to which way I should lay the boards while I let them dry out. I do not want the lumber to warp and cup. Should I bundle or stack them? Also which way should the rings go, facing down or up?

    Thank you ;

    Just my opinion...

    I would install the boards now and make sure to get a good tight fit. When the treated lumber dries it will shrink width wise and leave a gap for water to escape. If your talking about the growth rings, open end down. Also, I would use 2 by's instead of 5/4.

    Remember that these board will shrink.  So I would do the job right away.
