My garage won its category in Family Handyman's Best-In-DIY contest last year. When people asked me where they could find more information about it, I was only able to recommend a long and meandering thread on another site. Not any more, though -- the garage now has its own website, and the information about what's in it is now presented much more concisely. So, if you're interested, visit www.12gaugegarage.com. It's low-budget, non-commercial, and (unlike the garage) subject to being down a lot because of my fly-by-night internet provider.
Still, if you take a look and have any questions or want to comment, I'll keep an eye on this thread.
It's a 20'x22' garage that has had a lot of thought and work put into it in order to make up for its small size and the owner's small wallet. As I said, I'm interested in any and all input.
wow, your not going to recommend garagejournal.com?
Oh yes, he is there too...just probably doesn't want to do that on this site ;-)
Great idea with the website of your 12 gauge garage!
Cool little man cave you have there. Impressive. The more I look at it the more detail I see that you went into. It's actually a good guide to when someone is doing their own garage.
Your garage seems really good. We have purchased a new house and are planning to do up the garage. I really like the look of your garage and I plan to do it up the same way. Thanks for your post. The award is well deserved.
