Here are two simple projects to organize items in your
kitchen. The best part is that each project takes 10 minutes or less to do.
Project #1: Super-simple spice storage
This storage project will actually take you five minutes to
pull off. Tiny spice containers are one of the worst things to store in a
drawer or cabinet because they get lost among all the taller spices and
everything else you've got jammed in there.
The solution? A spring tension rod,
the same type used between window jambs for curtains. You can find them in
various lengths at home centers. Just install it in the back of your cabinet
and line up your small spice jars on it. Voilà! A tiny spice paradise!

Project #2: Measuring
cup and spoon hang-up
You're wasting valuable space by storing your measuring cups
and spoons in a drawer. Why not take advantage of the unused space inside your
cabinet doors and hang them there instead?
Just screw a strip of wood horizontally inside your cabinet
door. Make sure you position it so the measuring cups will hang between the
shelves so the door closes properly. Add a second strip for measuring spoons.
Then, screw on cup hooks and hang up your cups and spoons. Instant
